Welcome to my blog.  I am a husband, father and grandfather who loves the Lord Jesus Christ.  I came to Christ in my late twenties after a fatal car accident in which my best friend was killed.  Not long after I married my dear wife Judi and was blessed with two children. For most of my adult life I was an Engineer, travelling and teaching in the corporate world.   In my fifties, I was called to seminary and earned a Master of Divinity degree from Tyndale in Toronto.  I served for several years as Pastor of Spiritual Formation,  at Harvest Bible Chapel in Barrie where I taught  theology and discipleship.  In 2009, I launched Deposits of Faith, an organization that provides Spiritual Retreats in unique settings.   I also completed a Doctor of Ministry degree at Tyndale during which time I did a research project on the essentials of the Christian life,  which led to the publication of  Love’s Greatest Joy – a Closer Walk with God. 

I am an avid sailor and enjoy hosting others on my sailboat on Lake Simcoe.

But most of all, I am a minister of the cross of Jesus Christ, through whom God invites all people to be reconciled to Him and come home.
